Maybe that goes with the theme of surveillance in the film, but not sure that approach is worth it, when you are sacrificing additional situational and editorial clarity for the viewer. Also I seem to remember Supremacy has such overuse of long lenses and tight angles, and I remember feeling claustrophobic and trapped in the frame. I always come down on the side of it being there to hide absence of other things in the scene and to create a false sense of energy, while compromising clarity. Haven't really thought of the scene transitions in either QoS or WWZ.īourne Supremacy I agree is very good, however each time I watch it, I seem to think less of the shaking and quick cutting. Yeah, figured you might mean another aspect of the editing.
