I didn't stay at the hotel but instead stayed at a B&B in Balsam because all rooms were booked. OVERALL, A WONDERFUL PLACE!!! More Show less Not much of a pet walk there!! I'm not a smoker nor did I bring my dogs but just something I noticed. The only complaints were smoking area very far from our rooms, no ashtrays for the butts so they were thrown everywhere and (me being the pet lover) the pet walk was maybe 10 yards and then straight into the street. She hated the slots.no winning, people next to her were always boring, and $5 for alcoholic drinks.what? Thank goodness she brought her own bottle otherwise, she wouldn't have spent near as much money as she did!! Ha. I'm not a gambler so I went from black jack tables (sis) to slots (mom). The staff came in for turndown service, left some chocolates and oh so soft robes which thrilled our kids! Mother, sister and I were in the casino for a few hours checking on the kids every 30 minutes. Wonderful price, the kids said it was delicious and they felt super special.
The first night the kids stayed in the rooms and ordered room service. This has been the best place that we've met so far. My kids (15 and 14) and I met my mother, sister and her kids (14 and 12) and stayed 3 nights.
